People get annoyed by food delivery delays, without realizing the obstacles drivers have to overcome.

So Doordash decided to distract them by creating a fun app game where they have to overcome the same challenges as the drivers to win.

The game is synced in real-time with the driver’s route, requiring the player to overcome the same obstacles, such as being stuck in traffic and enduring extreme weather conditions.

To win, the player has to reach the finish line before the driver delivers the food. Successful ones will receive different in-app rewards based on their scores.
